A whodunnit set during the reign of Elizabeth I featuring  William Shakespeare in a supporting role.

Colin Falconer is such a diverse author. I always enjoy his blueprints, no matter his direction he always provides an enjoyable read.

I found this novella very entertaining. The narrative is suspenseful, humorous with enough romance all creating a super fast paced read.

William Shakespeare and William Shakespeare will charm you with their witty banter. William the play write takes a backseat to his cousin William the former glove maker turned gumshoe. He is adorable and you will become smitten with him instantly. His curiosity gets the best of him and quickly he finds himself a sleuth. Two men, vastly different adding to the fun of the novella. Lady Elizabeth is a firecracker, sarcastic and you’ll laugh at the repartee she shares with William.

A whimsical read with plenty of suspense to keep your attention. A fun series with a lovable gumshoe William Shakespeare, no not that one the other one, the ne’er do well cousin.
